Growing up in a small Italian town, the Church played a key role in communal life. Living in the UK as an adult, the church plays a key role in communal life. Despite being raised in a non-believer family, I could never escape the influence of the Church or appreciation for churches.

The project is a documentation of the sites of Christian religious practices, for both living and dead, that have played and still play different roles at different times for the communities around them. As society changes and secularism progresses, this project aims to created a visual record of these sacred spaces before they are lost.
